Our Learning Management System

Our YMCA training courses are delivered through the same third-party LMS (learning management system) used to train millions of staff and volunteers around the globe, including organizations such as the Girl Scouts of America, Rotary International, 4H, and other non-profit and for-profit organizations. This means you have a reliable LMS with robust features and functionality. Our courses are available to any person in your organization with an internet connection and a browser. When your staff log in, they will see the courses, policies, and other documents that you have assigned to them.

Add Your Own Training

In addition to the courses we have developed, we can add courses to our LMS that you have developed. (If you have not yet developed any of your own online courses, we can help you get started.) You now have one system to track all staff training compliance. Or, use our reporting to enter compliance information into your HR system. You decide which works best for you.

Policy Tools

Our LMS also allows you to publish your Y’s key documents online and assign them to the staff who need them.  You can then track who has read your employee handbook, code of conduct, harassment and discrimination policy, and other important documents. This will ensure your Y has done its job disseminating important policies and procedures and will ease the burden when you publish a policy update.

Email Notifications

Once you’ve assigned courses and policies to your staff, our LMS will automatically send out login information by email. If courses need to be taken again in a year, the LMS will automatically notify your staff by email that it is time to retake the course. Let our system work for you while you focus on other important endeavors.

Reporting

Our LMS provides robust reporting. At any time, you can see who has completed assigned courses (and read assigned policies) and who has not. For Ys with multiple branches, branch directors can receive branch reports to help managers follow-up to ensure that everyone completes their assignments. Our LMS can also email reports automatically to whomever you wish (and as often as makes sense for you) to stay on top of training compliance progress.

Rolling Out Training to Your Y

Once you are ready to go, online training can typically be rolled out to your Y staff within a few weeks. We’ll walk you through each step of the set-up process so that your roll-out is smooth, clearly communicated to your staff, and a success.
